Present 21 members attended.
The Record of the meeting held on 18th September 2007 was not read but would be made available for members to read.
Correspondence
Details were given of:
SEFWI Calendar 2009. A request was made for photos on the theme of ‘Suffolk at Work’. Members wishing to submit photos should get them to Orford Street no later than January 2008.
Matters Arising
Anybody wishing to join the committee should speak to Maureen. We are particularly in need of someone to become secretary as Caroline will be standing down. Jenny Fitton expressed an interest.
Need a member to volunteer to attend Group Meetings with Judith Rutherford. Eve Barletta kindly agreed to attend with Judith but was unsure if she would be able to attend every meeting. Joan Randall kindly offered to attend in Eves place if needed. Next Group Meeting 12th November at Bromeswell Village Hall.
Future Events
Carols at Blythburgh Church 6th December 2007, 2pm. Members can do a reading if they wish. See SEFWI News.
Caroline has arranged for an Image Consultant to give a talk to members at St Felix Church on the evening of 6th December 2007. 7pm for 7.30 start please. This is being funded by our bursary.
Snape Christmas Spectacular, Thursday December 20th. Please pay Pam if haven’t already done so.
Scrabble at Angel Studios, Bentwaters 2pm tomorrow (Wednesday 17th October 2pm).

Refreshments
The Committee provided a party supper to celebrate RWI’s 2nd birthday.
Jenny Fitton entertained members with her Communications Cup winning presentation and Maureen O’Connor talked about her Denman College course, where she learned how to paint with Watercolours. Maureen used her bursary and explained to members how she had been awarded it.
Next meeting will take place on Tuesday 20th November. It will be our AGM. Jenny Wilkinson will be attending.
